Our proof-of-concept (pre-prototype) scanning testbed has been delivered to our research laboratory at Nottingham Trent University, which will be used to optimise parameters and assess measurement accuracies.

Previous grants helped us to complete the first research steps towards providing the underpinning science and engineering proof-of-principle for a new approach to fracture prediction. We have now been awarded another EPSRC grant to combine the outputs of several successful research programmes and take the next essential steps towards development of a point-of-care, fracture prediction clinical instrument to facilitate rapid development to a full commercial product.
